Comments:
Great place to learn to sail in sheltered waters. The sailing area is to the north of a set of buoys that go across the lake. Not much good for any other type of sailing apart from going for a long board cruise close to home. Can get gusty in stronger winds and difficult to stay upwind as the wind funnels between the hills on either side. Safe spot for kids. Watch out for speed boats on the southern side of the buoys. Close to the City. Area is locked by a boom gate after dusk.
