Comments:
Good bay for learning in.  Waist to neck deep when the bay is full.  Some rocky outcrops to the North of the bay which can be seen easily, also a rocky point on the southern side of bay that juts out – be aware of these rocks.  If you stay off rocks you can avoid the oyster shells usually, although there are broken shells often washed up in the bay.  Silty sandy bay with broken shells – ideally use booties, but not absolutely necessary.  North beach in the bay is evident and a good point to aim for to sail both east and west from here.
